Things that are easier to take care of when you don’t have a full time job

1.  Going to the Post Office.

2.  Calling the Gynecologist to talk about girly things.

3.  Getting maintenance done on your car.

4.  Picking up your clothes from the dry cleaner.

5.  Calling the cleaning lady that stuck a business card in your door to discuss her cleaning your apartment.

6.  Scheduling a time when the cleaning lady can come to your apartment to give you a free estimate.

7.  Taking naps.

8.  Dealing with the Comcast guy.

9.  Dealing with any maintenance guy.

10.  Going to the bank.

yes, calling any kind of doctor is very awkward at work. Especially when you have very un-soundproof cubicle walls and nosy neighbors.

There needs to be a way to nap at work…just saying.

  1. I’m glad to know we’re not the only ones who have Comcast problems. B was beginning to believe we were the only ones so I brought him over to my computer to point out #8. Unfortunately, I don’t know that it made him feel any better.
